I’m Mike Hole, a software engineer based near Cardiff. I lead AI at Prodigi, where the job is less about demos and more about getting AI agents to do useful, reliable work inside a real business — support, operations, and the unglamorous plumbing in between.

This blog is where I write up what I learn doing that: agent architectures that survive contact with production, what LLMs are actually good for, tooling, and the occasional side project.

The archive holds the first incarnation of this site (2010–2013), when I was writing about Windows Phone 7, Silverlight and the .NET Micro Framework. Different decade, same habit of poking at new platforms before the tooling is ready.
